Our journey to the Sudetes: from passion to creating a sanctuary
Since our youth, we shared a deep passion for the Polish mountains. We explored diverse regions: the Carpathians always captivated us — especially the High Tatras, the rolling Beskids, and the wild Bieszczady. It is not only high peaks that hold charm, but also gentler ridges with their untouched spirit.
After hiking countless trails and exploring our homeland ranges, the Sudetes captivated our hearts the most. In their breathtaking diversity, they offer every facet of landscape: from jagged granite ridges and crags to densely forested hills. Crystal streams wind through the woodland undergrowth with the soothing melody of pure rushing water. Scenic trails guide you through lush spruce and beech forests, idyllic meadows, and rocky peaks.
Crossing wooden forest footbridges, you discover crystalline natural springs, smoothed granite boulders, and mountain flora. One can dip tired feet into crisp mountain streams after a long hike to continue onward with renewed vitality.
The majestic grandeur and diversity of the Sudetes drew our gaze to the Karkonosze — historically known as the Giant Mountains, crowned by Mount Śnieżka (1,602 m a.s.l.).
